Harborcreek Community Talks Rail Project

March 6, 2014 - More than a hundred people filling the auditorium of Harbor Creek Senior High for a public hearing about Develop Erie's proposed $60 million Erie rail terminal, which would be built near Walbridge Rd and Route 20.

The public hearing was organized by fourth district State Representative Curt Sonney who was joined on stage by the three township supervisors.

Dozens of people took the podium to voice their concerns about traffic, safety, pollution, and more if this project does in fact come into fruition.

Sonney said the meeting was very informative and community members said they just wanted their voices to be heard.
