If you think that poetry is a dying art, you need to get out more.
Dozens of poetry lovers, gathered tonight in the Hirt Auditorium at the Blasco Library to hear the work of Erie County Poet Laureate Ron Hayes share his poetry.

Ron was joined onstage by 14 area high school students who have turned to poetry as a means of self-expression.
And the students' styles ranged from traditional, to spoken word, to hip-hop.
