June 19, 2014 - An historical mansion in Downtown Erie is getting a new lease on life.

Crews spent the day working on masonry and roofing on the Watson Curtze Mansion.

This is just phase one of the $3 million project.

The multimillion dollar facelift is part of an effort to reopen the mansion as a consolidated one stop historical site and museum.

The "headquarters for Erie history" is expected to be revamped and remodeled by March 2015.
