August 29, 2014 – A local woman is raising awareness and remembering those who are dealing with addiction through a nation-wide vigil.

Sue Johnson lost her son Ryan to a heroin overdose earlier this summer at the age of 22.

She continues to grieve, but is hoping to help others who have gone through or who are going through her same situation.

Johnson is bringing an Ignite the Night candlelight vigil to the Harborcreek Community Park to remember those who have lost their battle with addiction and to support those who need it most.

The Ignite the Night event is scheduled for September 13th at Harbocreek Community Park starting at 6pm.

Johnson says everyone is invited to attend.
