Iroquois School District Community Night

Parents and educators tackled some tough topics at the Iroquois school district last night.

Dozens of people gathered at Iroquois Elementary school for group sessions covering all sorts of topics.

Parents were encouraged to attend the meeting to talk about issues Including school funding bullying and homework.

The biggest topic of community night was drugs in the school and the community.

Lawrence Park police were on hand to talk to parents about keeping their kids safe.

The Iroquois Education Association plans to host more events like this in the future.
