January 19, 2014 - Local young people are expressing their talents in a positive way at the third annual "A Day of Expression" at the Erie Art Museum.

The event is hosted by the Youth Leadership Institute of Erie.

The student art program allowed students to show off a variety of talents from the community's younger generations, including singing, rapping, and visual arts.

A $500 Ruby Mae Ward scholarship was awarded to the winner of the 11th-12th grade portion of the art contest, and a presidential service award was given to Susan Kemenyffy, of Raku Place.
