July 28, 2014 - A local man accused of robbing an area pharmacy and stealing thousands of dollars worth of pills has his day in court. Alex Masi waived his right to a preliminary hearing this morning.

Investigators say Masi robbed the Frontier Pharmacy with the help of Shawn Morgan and Jeffrey Kemick. The three men reportedly got away with nearly $18,000 worth of prescription pills.

That incident happened back in March. Kemick and Morgan previously waived their charges over to court.

Masi is charged with conspiracy to burglarize, burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

His next court date has not been set. Masi is free on bond.
