The push for jobs will continue this morning with a march around downtown Erie. The group will raise awareness, and push for Community Benefit Agreements. Those agreements usually provide benefits such as job training. Officials say the agreements are needed to help people in Erie find jobs, and that the need for cooperation between the local government, and those looking to build in the city is important.
That march is scheduled to leave the Martin Luther King Jr. Center parking lot at 11:30 a.m. The group will make brief stops in front of the county, city, and federal buildings, and will also pass by local building projects.
