Mayor Recognizes Explosion's Championship

July 1, 2014 - Mayor Joe Sinnott honors Erie's indoor football team as they wrapped up a winning season.

Erie’s indoor football team -- the Erie Explosion -- won the 2014 title this year for the second time.

Mayor Joe Sinnott gave a proclamation to owner Bill Stafford to recognize their accomplishment.

Stafford brought the hardware to be able to show the community.

The CIFL is the longest running indoor football league in the country.
