The J.O.Y. Senior Center officially opened last year, serving hundreds of senior citizens in the region, but now it's facing closure after Millcreek Township supervisors voted to end funding. Township supervisors say the center is too expensive to operate and attendance is down.
Tonight, J.O.Y. Center members will go before Millcreek Township supervisors and pitch ideas as to how the center can stay open. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Millcreek Township Building.
