A Millcreek School Board member wants to implement a hiring freeze.
During Monday's meeting of the board, Mike Kobylka voted against accepting the treasurer's reports for October, November and December.
He doesn't believe they contained enough financial information and says district officials weren't able to give him the answers he wants about where the district's finances stand at this point.

In other business, Kobylka says the board voted unanimously to renew the Montessori school charter for another five years.
