The Millcreek School Board has passed its budget for the 2014 - 2015 school year.
The board voted tonight to pass the 89.2 million dollar budget that includes a 4.79 percent tax increase.
The increase will cost a 100 thousand dollar home owner in Millcreek an additional 60 dollars per year.
The budget also includes absorbing some positions of teachers retiring to save on salaries.
The board says it feels confident that this budget was well prepared.
The district also received a report from the director of the Bureau of School Audits for the performance period of February through October of 2013
Officials say the audit found that the district complied with procedures related to the bureau's objectives.
