Millcreek Township Crash Injures One Person

February 21, 2014- One person was taken to the hospital, and one was taken into police custody after a one car crash in Millcreek Township.

Police and rescue crews were called to the crash in the 4600 block of Lancaster Road around 12:30am.
According to Millcreek Police, a truck driven by Michael Rose of McKean was traveling south on Lancaster when he lost control and struck a snowbank and ultimately, a utility pole.
The truck also hit a gas marker nearby as a result of the crash.
National Fuel was called to see if the gas line was ruptured, while Penelec checked the utility pole for damage.

The road was closed for a short time while crews were on the scene.
Rose was taken into police custody, while his passenger, Denise Holmes-Kobylinski, was taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment of minor injuries.
