Hundreds of people poured in to listen to the sweet sounds of the Navy Band North East.
The band came to Erie to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the War of 1812 and the famous victory in the Battle of Lake Erie with Admiral Perry.
The last time the United States Navy Band was in town was for the bicentennial celebration back in 1995.
America's Navy is in the front line of defense in peace and war, and Navy music is a big part of the outreach around the world.
And to sound like this, takes preparation...most of the musicians have 2-3 years in music performance.
Having a band like this one performing all weekend is sure to have an economic impact.
If you missed them tonight, but have tickets for the Mariner's Ball... you're in luck they'll be playing there too.
