The city of Corry is about to get a new hotel.

Ground was broken this afternoon for the Corry Cobblestone Inn, a 37 room hotel that will be built along 6N and Columbus Avenue.

The Inn is being developed by Select Real Estate Opportunities, led by Erie developer Tom Kennedy.  Rooms will include plenty of amenities like microwaves and refrigerators, coffee service and granite counter tops.
Guests will also be able to access high speed internet.
Crews were busy today clearing the area that once housed the offices for Erie Plastics, that area will be where part of the inn will be built.
If all goes according to plan, construction will get underway in a few weeks with completion set for August
