The Steering Committee consists of Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper, Erie Mayor Joseph Sinnott, Barbara Chaffee (President and CEO of the Erie Regional Chamber & Growth Partnership), Dr. William Garvey (Jefferson Educational Society), Joel Berdine (GE Transportation), and Brenda Sandberg (Director of Economic and Community Development, City of Erie).
County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper spoke for the group by saying “We are very excited to have Anna on board. Her planning background and, more specifically, her experience working with HUD will be invaluable as we begin the final phase of this project.”
Anna Frantz most recently worked as the Director of Rehabilitation Loan Programs for the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, managing the allocation of city loan funds for housing preservation and repair projects. Anna has a Masters in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a focus on housing and community development and a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College.
Anna Frantz replaces Michael Fuhrman, who is now working in his new role as consultant to the Environment and Community Facilities work groups for Destination Erie.
