PennDOT, Port Authority Announce Public Meeting for Erie Access Project

- Oil City – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority invite the public to a meeting concerning plans for the Water Works Park Public Access Project.
The project includes the construction of a viewing area and path system to allow pedestrians and bicycles access to the Bayfront from the Bluff at the Erie Water Works crossing. The project extends from the foot of Chestnut Street to an area west of the Water Authority pump building along the Bayfront Parkway in the City of Erie, and will provide connection from Chestnut Street to the Bayfront Promenade.
The meeting will be after a regularly scheduled Port Authority study session, and will be held:

The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the project and to receive public input regarding questions or concerns with the project.
