Pennsylvania Unemployment Numbers Continue to Improve

May 28, 2014-The April unemployment numbers from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry show continued improvement.

In Erie County, the seasonally adjusted rate dropped to 6.1 percent. That's a three tenths of a point drop from March and one and four tenths down from April 2013.

Statewide, the rate dropped three tenths from 6 percent to 5.7 percent.

The national rate is down four tenths of a percent to 6.3 percent.
