Poet Robert Frost wrote about the road less traveled, but tonight poetry fans gathered at a road not traveled.

Poets' from throughout Erie and as far away as Cleveland, Ohio were on hand tonight to listen to and recite poems to eager listeners as part of a weekly tradition put on every Friday by the poets from Poets' Hall. Cee Williams, the founder of Poet's Hall was the main organizer of the event.

But tonight's reading took on added meaning and significance when the McBride Viaduct was the chosen setting, shining a spotlight to civic minded citizens who are fighting to save the viaduct and possibly re-purpose it.

Tonight's event was held in conjunction with Civitas Erie.
