May 27, 2014 - Around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Erie Police responded to a man who was shot. When they arrived they found several shell casings in the area and a shooting victim near where the incident happened.

Witnesses on the scene say a man was shot in the leg, neighbors say they believe it was a drive by shooting and are concerned with the recent rash of violence in the area.

Wally Brown, a member of the Neighborhood Watch Program is urging people, if they see it, they should report it. "It's time for them to step up forward before they end up losing their loved ones. I mean seriously if you don't think it will happen just say nothing and stand back and watch it will happen. This time everyone is lucky," says Brown.

Police are continuing to investigate this shooting.
