June 17, 2014 - Erie Police file charges against an Erie man after they accuse him of being at the center of a fight with a stolen handgun.

Laquan Martin, 23, faces charges including firearms not to be carried without a license, receiving stolen property and drivers required to be licensed.

Erie Police say they responded to a large fight in the area of 16th and Chestnut Streets on June 11th around 9pm.

Martin was reportedly driving a land rover which was seen at the center of the fight.

In plain view, police saw a handgun on the passenger floor that came back as reported stolen from a burglary in Harborcreek.
