Police Seek Suspect in GNC Store Robbery

Erie police are investigating an armed robbery tonight.
It was just after seven-thirty this evening when police were called to the gnc store in the Liberty Plaza.

According to the officer in charge, the suspect had a pistol, came up behind an employee, took that employee to the register and took an undisclosed amount of money.
The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black manin his mid 20's wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt and green pants.
He was carrying a backpack reported to be blue with green drawstrings.
He was last seen running north on Liberty Street.
