Pool Trick-Shot Artists Return to Erie

- The Erie Sports Commission is pleased to announce that this year's Pennsylvania State 8-Ball Pool Championships, March 7-9 at the Bayfront Convention Center, will once again feature two of the world’s top pool sensations—Dave Pearson and Tom Rossman.

Both will be performing at various times throughout the tournament.
“These two guys have been such a great addition to an already great tournament,” said Rod Didion, the Tournament Event Coordinator from Warner Coin Machine.

“They each bring a unique set of rare talents, and I think spectators will be in awe of what they can do.”

Pool entertainer Dave Pearson will demonstrate his unique World Record-breaking talents, which have led him to hold the current records for single table, double table, 10 table, and the 24 hour record.

Pearson is no amateur when it comes to entertainment, as he has traveled the globe performing in 33 countries and has also made appearances on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Regis and Kathy Lee, MTV and NBC’s Dog Eat Dog.

Rossman has been competing in artistic pool since 1980 and has won more than 22 artistic pool discipline titles. Rossman's titles include the 2006 ESPN World Cup of Trick Shots Champion, the 2006 Masters Masse Champion, the 2005 WPA World and Masters Bank/Kick Shots Champion and the 2001 BCA North American Artistic Pool Champion.

“Watching these two artists perform is so entertaining, whether you’re a fan of pool or not,” said Erie Sports Commission Executive Director Ron Sertz.
“We’re so happy to have the chance to bring them to Erie once again, and expose even more Erie sports fans to their wonderful talents.”
