A Precautionary Swimming Advisory has been issued for Beach 1, Barracks Beach, Beach 7, Beach 8 and Millroad Beaches today as of 12:30 pm.

This is based on results from the predictive module and high winds causing turbidity in the water, affecting the levels of E. coli.

Advisories are posted when E. coli counts are between 235 and 999 per 100 ml of water.

The beaches will be tested daily until levels are below 235, and then the advisories will be lifted.
