ERIE, Pa. – Local golfers will gather on Wednesday, June 18 at the Peek ‘n Peak Upper Golf Course in Clymer, New York for the Driving FORE Disaster Golf Tournament to raise funds for disaster relief on behalf of the Greater Erie County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Registration will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 10.

“We have had a very good turnout this year and we’re looking forward to a great day of golf on behalf of the Red Cross,” said Pam Masi, Greater Erie County Chapter executive director. “We’re gratified by the support of sponsors and the response of the community to help support disaster relief,” she said.

The event will include skill contests and a silent auction. Beverages and lunch will be served on the course. Dinner will be served immediately following the tournament.

The Presenting Sponsor is ServiceMaster Restoration by Advanced.

All proceeds will benefit local disaster relief, allowing the Red Cross to assist disaster victims with their immediate needs including food, clothing and shelter. Last year, the Greater Erie County Chapter responded to nearly 94 incidents and assisted more than 132 families.
