As of this afternoon, 2 families living in the apartment house that burned Monday have found places to move into.
The American Red Cross is still helping three other families to find a place to live and have extended their hotel stay until then.
And what a year it's been so far for the Red Cross.
Since January 1st, the Erie area Red Cross has helped families in 22 incidents that left 72 people homeless.
Because of the unusually high numbers of incidents, the Red Cross Disaster Relief Funds have been depleted.
The Red Cross provides funds for disaster victims to purchase new items, so monetary donations are appreciated
