Millcreek could have a RELCO System up and running in the township by later this year.
The RELCO lights will signal drivers to pull over and clear an intersection for emergency crews to safely pass through.
Millcreek along with nearby municipalities have been working on getting the RELCO lights running because the current system is unusable. Millcreek supervisors believe the units will be made quickly and then be installed in multiple municipalities on an individual basis.
The first round of installation will mean about fifty intersections will be equipped with the RELCO lights.
