June 30, 2014 - It was a special celebration for a retired Erie Police officer who reached a milestone.

Al Pede turned 100 years old today.

More than a dozen retired police officers, plus the Chief of Erie Police Randy Bowers, who worked with Pede were on hand to celebrate.

He was in the US Air Force during World War Two and was an Erie Police officer for 21 years.

He's already thinking about making it to 101.

Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott gave him a proclamation along with Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett.
