Many students around Pennsylvania begin taking the PSSA tests Tuesday. One school is pumping the kids up to encourage them to try their best.

Erie Rise Leadership Academy Charter School started the morning with a pep rally. The third through sixth grade students at Erie Rise will be taking the tests this week. The entire school and staff participated in singing, stretching, and even forming a line for high fives as the test-takers left the gym to get started.

Test results will help teachers know how to help students in certain areas.
