Scott Enterprises unveils its latest addition to their multi-million dollar Harbor Place.

The announcement coming just days after county council approves a second county hotel off the tax roles.

The Scott's mixed retail and residential project is still in the works, but this latest piece of the puzzle.

The inclusion of new apartments is something the Scott's say is progress....

The family owned and operated company announced plans to add apartments to its first hotel project.

The Scott's unveiled their latest plan at the Manufacturer and Business Association's eggs and issues breakfast this morning.

The first hotel will be a high rise hilton hotel located at the northeast corner of state street.

15 to 20 plus apartments will sit on the top floors of the Hilton.

The Scott's say they already have approval from the Hilton corporation for the plan.

This announcement comes on the heels of the Convention Center Authority's public hotel project getting financial backing from the county.

The Scott's say at this point it's about moving forward and keeping their eye on revitalizing Erie.

The Scott's do not have a set date for when work will begin on Harbor Place but they say county council's vote does not hinder their plan.
