APRIL 10, 2014-- The beautiful weather brought out the crowd to the Seawolves game and many fans said they have been looking forward to the start of the season. For two decades fans have headed to the stadium to enjoy America's pastime. For Pete Peterson it’s a familiar view as he watches the team play ball. Peterson has been an usher at the ballpark for all twenty seasons. He says his favorite memory comes just three years ago.

“We were losing 6-5 about three years ago and he hits a two run homer walk off and it was so exciting For the people everyone loved him. His name was Max Saint Pierre and that was probably my highlight." Peterson said.

Seawolves officials say this is a milestone year for the organization and the home opener is only just the beginning of the celebration. The Seawolves have extended their contract with the Erie County Convention Center Authority through 2016.
