Some local teenagers are getting a taste of what it's like to be a senator in the state of Pennsylvania. Senator Sean Wiley joined a group of teens involved with Family Services of NW PA.
The senator and his team gave the group a senate bill to review and they debated as though they were on the senate floor. The kids are part of Erie County's Independent Living Program, aimed at teaching them about legislature will help the goal of teaching them to be self-sufficient and engaged.
Senator Wiley has also held several mock senate sessions in various schools in the area.
