JUNE 17, 2014-- Severe weather hit the area Tuesday evening. A funnel cloud allegedly got close to the ground in Cambridge Springs. There were multiple reports of tornado sirens in Meadville, Lake City and in Edinboro. A campus alert went out advising of a rotating cloud east of Fry road heading west toward Edinboro. Crawford Count had reports of flooding and two reports of tree's down, one on route 27 in West Mead Township and another on Route 18 near Springboro. There are some flooded roads several stretches are on Route 98 north of Route 198 up to Route 6N. There were reports of funnel clouds and touch downs, however, Crawford County 911 says there doesn't seem to be enough damage to indicate that a tornado actually touched down anywhere in the county tonight. Very few power outages were reported.
