Mayor Joe Sinnott recognized twenty people this morning who participated in a city program for paint certification.

It's the 4th year for the Sherwin Williams Home Work Paint Class that provides on the job painting experience where they painted the 4th floor of city hall and had resume and career building services.

It's a helpful class in hard economic times.

Stephen Ferguson, a Sherwin Williams student, says, "I'm happy. I can take this a step further and start a business and I have a lot more opportunities to grow with what I have now."

The class included refugees from the Saint Benedict Education Center along with students from Central Tech.
