Snow Causes Delays for Travelers

February 5, 2014-   It’s a slow go across the board for travelers from land to air, as Erie county is pounded with snow.
The National Weather service reports as of Wednesday Erie has been buried by more than 100 inches of snow this winter.
Erie is still holding strong at the top spot as the snowiest city in the country.
Wednesday's weather conditions threatened travelers.
Cars slipped and slid...
And many flights at Erie International Airport were delayed, if not cancelled altogether earlier in the day.
White out conditions posed a serious threat and Penn Dot even lowered the speed limit to 45 miles per hour on interstates Wednesday morning through early afternoon.
PENNDOT officials say if you see plows on the roadway, give them the right of way and allow for enough space.
