February 5, 2014 - Led by the group Save Our Schools, the Spartansburg community is thinking of opening a charter school in the area.

This comes as the Corry Area school district gets closer to voting on a consolidation plan that would close two of its elementary schools.

Save Our Schools president Andrea Chelton says opening a charter school seems like a viable option.

However, tonight, community members just talked to discuss the idea, but a decision on whether or not an application will be submitted to the district has not been made just yet.
