JULY 22, 2014- Children with autism had the chance to become baseball stars for a day.
Dozens of children in the Erie Connections camp participated in a day-long baseball clinic at Jerry Uht Park.
The clinic was sponsored by the Barber National Institute, the Erie Seawolves, and the Siebenbuerger Club.
Erie Seawolves players and coaches taught the kids the fundamentals of baseball.
The hands on experience is said to help the children improve all around social skills in the classroom and with friends and loved ones.
The children in the program will also come back for tonight's Seawolves game where they will be honored for their hard work.
