History was made - and competed on - at the Jefferson Educational Society tonight.

It was the inaugural meeting of the Erie Regional History Challenge.
A total of twenty four students were divided into three grade categories.
Third through fifth graders, sixth through eighth graders and ninth to 12th graders.

The competition was a buzzer in to answer format that challenged the students on their knowledge of history.
The winner in each grade bracket won an ipad. Our own David Belmondo was the master of ceremonies for the ninth to twelfth grade group.
