Suspect Believed to be Involved in Two Recent Robberies

- JULY 21,2014-- A Millcreek credit union was robbed earlier today when a man presented a note indicating he had a gun at the Americo Federal Credit Union at 2445 West 23rd Street. Shortly before 5 PM, the suspect entered the credit union and demanded money. He is described as a white man, wearing a ball cap, tan pants and a blue and tan striped shirt. He was reported to be carrying a tan or yellow bag. The man made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Millcreek police have confirmed that they believe that the suspect in today's robbery is 30 - year-old Angel Lebron, the same man that Erie Police have issued an arrest warrant for in the robbery of a credit union on Friday. Lebron is wanted on charges in Friday's robbery that include robbery, theft and carrying a firearm without a license. He reportedly showed the firearm during that robbery. According to police, Lebron robbed the Erie Federal Credit Union on Buffalo Road around five o'clock Friday. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Erie Police at 870-1120 or the Millcreek Police at 833-7777.
