February 7, 2014 - Police in Nashville have issued an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Anthony Alexander, the man they believed murdered Erie native Tahj Brown according to "The Tennessean". 24-year-old Tahj Brown graduated from McDowell High School in 2009, and later moved to Tennessee. Brown was shot and killed Thursday afternoon in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Southern Nashville.
Detectives believe Brown entered a white sedan with Alexander. Brown was then shot and pushed out of the car. He later died at the hospital. Browns family remains in Erie. His mom, Michelle Graves plans to travel to Tennessee to bring her sons body back to Erie for a proper burial. She says her son was a giving man who would do anything for anyone. His father, Charles Foster runs a local auto body shop and says Brown is one of his 15 kids.
A fund has now been set up for Tahj Brown’s family to help defer funeral costs. Donations can be made in Tahj's name at any First National Bank Branch.
