Following a murder suicide that took place nearly two weeks ago, three religious groups are taking back the site of the tragedy.

It was the night of February 15th, in the 17-hundred block of Plum Street where the incident happened.

Police say 43 year old christopher allen shot and killed 41 year old erica casto and then him self.

Both died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Tonight, the sisters of Saint Joseph, The Benedictine Sisters, and the Sisters of Mercy are coming together to reclaim this site from violence.

They will pray for all who have been personally affected by this incident, and pray for the community as we work to overcome the violence that has yet again touched our city.
