In the second season of 16 & Pregnant it topped it's season 1 rankings by over 40%.
MTV's Teen Mom 2 broke MTV records with 4.0 million viewers in the 12-34 age bracket.
With that large group represented many ask what does this mean for teens?
Nationally teen birth rates are on the decline. Teenage pregnancy rates dropped to 43 births for every 1,000 girls ages 15-19.
With new 2010 data not available yet, experts say it's a positive outcome.
"We have seen a market decrease in the number of clients coming in and those numbers nationally have decreased as well," Brenda Newport of the Women's Care Center said.
