An Erie teen accused of shooting another teen in the back and assaulting a prison guard in a separate incident, has been sentenced.
Shidee Beason pleaded guilty to aggravated assault earlier this year. Wednesday, he was sentenced to 11-23 months behind bars and 5 years probation.
Police say Beason shot a 17-year-old in the 600 block of East 19th Street and hit a prison guard during a separate incident.
Judge Daniel Brabender also ordered Beason to take anger management courses and enroll in drug and alcohol treatment.
