Coming up on Saturday August 23rd the creek stomp at Elk Creek will draw in people from around the area to help park naturalists and have some fun too.
It's important research for environmental educators and a way to see what's in the stream this time of year.
Prepare to get wet, this is a program for kids and adults but you may want to bring your waders.
You'll be in the water for about three hours and nets and buckets will be provided and as a reminder water shoes are recommended.
You can meet at the Elk Creek access area at 9am on the 23rd.
