January 7, 2014 - Interstate 90 in western New York to the Pennsylvania state line has been closed since 8pm last night due to high winds, cold temperatures, and overall inclement weather.

Truckers have been lining up all along the side of I-90 from the Ripley, New York exit to the state line exit.

We stopped by the Travel Center of America in Harborcreek where some drivers we spoke with say they've been stuck there since last night.

Drivers say they are thankful that New York state authorities closed the interstate as a safety precaution; however, they say the closure is preventing them from making money.

The roadway is closed until further notice.

To check the status of the thruway, call 1-800-THRUWAY (847-8929).
