February 7, 2014 - There has been a huge outpouring of support all week for families affected by the fatal fire Monday.

If you haven't had a chance to pitch in, you still can.

That devastating fire ripped through a home Monday killing Fato Abdi, 4, and leaving four families with nothing.

A case worker from the Multicultural Community Resource Center helped the families find apartments.

She says three out of four of them did find new apartments already.

Dozens of people continue to drop off items including essentials like clothes, towels and food to bedding and laundry detergent.

The family even had enough monetary donations to have a proper burial for their daughter.

Community officials are overwhelmed with the donations, saying the generosity of the community is unbelievable.

If you want to help them sort through the donations, go to the CEC next to the Multicultural Resource Center on East 10th Street on Saturday from 12:30pm to 4pm.
