Waldameer Season Ends, Expansion Begins
SEPTEMBER 1, 2014-- Waldameer Park ends its summer season this Labor Day and officials say while there were many rainy days, the nice weather brought the crowds to the park. Visitors lined up for the rides at the park for the holiday weekend and many say they always come back each summer with their friends and family. The off season this year will keep the park just as busy. New construction promises changes to the water park that will be sure to make a splash in the future. Officials say a new wave pool will be the largest in the tri-state area and these improvements are the largest dollar amount the park has ever done at one time. Waldameer Park and Water World plan to have the additions ready for the 2015 season.
