A weather buoy will be dropping its anchor in Lake Erie starting tomorrow.
The buoy will be a few miles off the shore and will collect valuable data for locals looking for weather and water conditions, and also for research purposes.

It will also have a video camera where people can go online and see video clips of the weather conditions.
The buoy will also have wave sensors that will measure wave height and direction.

The buoy will measure water quality and weather and will be an accurate resource for beach goers this summer.
The buoy is only the second of its kind to be in Lake Erie.
The buoy go in the water tomorrow morning and will remain in there until about October.
