Now it's a waiting game until the state decides when the money will be allocated.
Erie City Council approved a resolution for the city to apply for the money through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program.
It's reimbursement grant money that would be used for Harbor Place, the Erie Event Complex, Liberty Park and Perry Square.
The first part of the grant would allocated twelve million dollars for Harbor Place, the Scott Enterprises Bayfront project including a hotel, and private residences.
Another part of the grant is 12 million dollars for the Erie Event Complex.
It would be used to renovate Jerry Uht Park - updating the facility that was built in 1995.
Some would also go to Erie Insurance Arena to complete projects they didn't have enough money to complete during the renovation.
If Liberty Park is awarded money, it's one point five million dollars for a restroom facility and concessions that will will be built near the Burger King Amphitheater.
The city is hoping for 650 thousand dollars to complete renovations to Perry Square.
