August 15, 2014- One person was not injured early this morning when she wrecked her car near the Bayfront Connector.

Around 2:20a.m., police and emergency crews were called to the intersection of East 12th and Wayne streets for a rollover.
Police at the scene say the driver of a red convertible was traveling East on 12th street at an unsafe speed when she attempted to make a right turn onto Wayne Street.

The driver lost control and hit the cement barrier near the bridge, flipping the vehicle onto its side.
Bystanders attempted to help the woman push the vehicle away from the barrier, but it became wedged.
The driver was not hurt in the crash.
